Rocket Reader & Six Flags
Keep reading! Also, if you haven’t turned in your Six Flags Reading Log I will still take those until the 12th of February so there’s still time. I would love for everyone to be able to earn a ticket to Six Flags.

Valentine’s Day
I have collected cereal boxes so that our class will be able to make Valentine’s Day mailboxes. We will do a Language Arts activity to decorate these in class. I know your child will also want to make Valentines cards or goodie bags for their friends to go in the boxes. If your child decides to participate in this activity, a card or goodie bag must be made for everyone in the class. I have included a list of your child’s classmates below. Have fun!
Lou Gayathri Abigail Diana Olivia Trent Westen Jarius Ashton Summer Nia
Bria Swabrina Camille Mikey Khronus Jayden Melinah Joseph Victoria Gia Christopher Ayden
Report Card Envelopes
Please remember to return the golden envelope and the signed signature card back to school if you haven’t already. The report card itself is yours to keep.
Inclement Weather Notes
I am sending home new inclement weather notes. The last time that you signed them was in August and plans and schedules have changed since then. Please fill out the new form and send it back ASAP. This way I will have updated information as to how you would like your child to travel home in the event that we have another day like Friday.
A-Z cards are coming home
Some of you have expressed that you have lost you’re A-Z reading log in information. A-Z is a really great reading program that you can use to enhance your child’s reading ability and at his/her own level. It provides you with many books without having to go to the library and it’s interactive and on the computer so kids usually enjoy it. Give it a try if you haven’t already. You can also use these titles towards Rocket Reader or Six Flags!
We Are Still Learning Our Address and Phone Number!
Please continue to work with your child on learning their address and phone number. We will be working on these in class as well. Not only is this information on the report card for this nine week quarter, but it is also great information for your child to know just in case of an emergency.
Help!
We would love to have donations of glue sticks if possible. Thank you! J
